Kathak is a prominent classical Indian dance form known for its storytelling, intricate footwork, graceful movements, and expressive facial expressions . We teach two Kathak gharana styles: one is Jaipur and another one is Lucknow-Banaras. For over ten years, Harshada Tai and Ketaki Tai have been teaching Kathak at Harmony Academy. We conduct exams from Prarambhik to Visharad levels under Akhil Bharatiya Gandharv Mahavidyalaya. Bharatanatyam is a classical Indian dance form with roots in Tamil Nadu, South India. It originated in the Hindu temples and is believed to be over 2,000 years old. The dance form is known for its intricate footwork, expressive hand gestures (mudras), and facial expressions, used to tell stories and convey emotions.We conduct exams from Prarambhik to Visharad levels under Akhil Bharatiya Gandharv Mahavidyalaya. Under the guidance of Manisha Tai and Anagha Tai, students are grooming very fast. Both gurus are Masters and Alankars in dance, with more than 15 years of teaching experience. Students are learning and really enjoying their dancing journey. Thank you.
Hindustani classical vocal music, originating in North India, is a rich tradition emphasizing improvisation and expressive vocal delivery within a melodic framework called a raga. It is also closely tied to rhythmic cycles called taal. We conduct exams from Prarambhik to Visharad levels under Akhil Bharatiya Gandharv Mahavidyalaya. Rajguru sir has been teaching harmony since 2008. We teach Hindustani classical vocal, Harmonium/Synthesizer, bhajan, bhavgeet, and Bhaktigeet. Thank you.
A guitar is a stringed musical instrument, typically with six strings, that is played by plucking or strumming the strings with a pick or fingers. Basic types of playing techniques are strumming, plucking, and fretting. We have a basic 6-month course where we teach chords, strumming patterns with English and Hindi songs. After six months, we teach Western classical pieces, Bollywood lead guitar, and different styles of guitar like rock, jazz, blues. It's a hobby class, so we don't provide any certification. Mr. Superson is a guitar tutor. He has been teaching with us for the last 17 years.
